A few years after being born under the chaos of Hurricane Hortense in the oldest colony of the world (Borikén, AKA “Puerto Rico”), Gíann was displaced to north Texas due to the impact of colonialism on the island, such as exacerbated street crime and the deterioration of the educational system. This soul developed a strong sense of incongruous dissonance over the next two decades, in addition to generally feeling misunderstood, and eventually embarked on a road of self-discovery, self-healing, and decolonization. Their path has been an eclectic one, incorporating parts of gnosticism, eastern philosophy, and Vedic mysticism, as well as their Taíno and West African heritage.

Gíann resonates deeply with Jiddu Krishnamurti’s famous words, “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” They value individuality and celebrate differences, believing these as essential to a truly peaceful and regenerative future. They understand their duty is to raise awareness of this, utilizing cartomancy & and their understanding of the mechanics of subtle energy to help guide their clients to realizing their highest selves, enabling each individual to reach their full potential as the divine beings they are.

Hi, my name is Vikter (They/Them) and I’m the Supreme in charge of the inner workings of Santa Maria del Carmen Spiritual Services. I’m a healer at heart. Which is how Santa Maria del Carmen Spiritual Services was born. Santa María del Carmen Spiritual Services takes its name as an homage to my grandmother and great grandmother, who are Ancestors watching over and guiding me. They are important figures in spiritual life and taught me so many things that I took to heart.  

Through understanding how the lessons that they both taught me (both in life and through their watch as Ancestors) has helped me understand how our lived experiences can help facilitate our healing. A major part of the healing journey begins with understanding the various intersections that constitute our identity and how we utilize these experiences in our soul’s journey. Let me tell you a little a bit about who I am and what I offer.  

I am also the owner of Awakened Messages: Apothecary and Botanical Emporium, where I make and sell artisanal bath products, including spelled bath soaks and cleansing baths as well. I pour candles (regular and can spell them). I make sugar scrubs, sugar scrub bars, body butters, custom scented Epsom salt soaks, and offer a variety of dried herbs for herbal remedies. I have make salves and lip balms, and the signature product, bath bombs! 

On the spiritual side of this, I am the owner and tarot consultant for Santa Maria del Carmen Spiritual Services. I offer a variety of services to help achieve your holistic health needs. I do cleansing (both on people and places) I am a reiki master teacher, apart from that, I’m a spiritual life coach where I incorporate astrology and tarot to help gain a holistic background on my clients to help attain their goals.  I also lead guided meditations focused in mindfulness.  I also teach yoga and soon will be offering trauma informed yoga to help in your healing process.
